PROSOCO welcomes new Product Support Specialist

At PROSOCO, we love to celebrate the addition of a new member to our family. That’s why we’re so pleased to introduce the newest member of the Customer Care team, Shane Wilson!

Shane joins PROSOCO after working for Emporia Main Street, an economic and community development organization in Emporia, Kan. He developed marketing plans and organized events to promote local businesses and shops in the heart of Emporia.

As a lifelong Kansan, Shane loves to give back to his state and community. He has spent his summers and vacation time over the last 12 years serving as a counselor and advisor for Boys State of Kansas. Boys State and Girls State are summer programs for high school juniors focused on teaching and developing leadership and citizenship skills. He plans on continuing his service with Boys State of Kansas for years to come.

Anyone who has met Shane knows he has a large, captivating personality. He loves meeting people and is looking forward to providing great care to PROSOCO customers. “When communicating with others, I think it’s critical that you listen first to understand and then respond,” Shane said. “Too many people are just listening and waiting for an opportunity to interject, and that’s not effective communication.”

Shane is an avid musician in his free time, skilled at playing bass and guitar. He even writes his own music, describing his style as somewhere between indie, singer/songwriter and progressive rock. He’s looking forward to moving to Lawrence (PROSOCO's headquarters) from his current home in Emporia partially because of Lawrence’s vibrant music scene. He’s already been to several shows at the Bottleneck, an intimate concert venue in downtown Lawrence, and is looking forward to attending many more.
