Polished concrete training from Consolideck

We all know that polishing a concrete floor is not always an easy and straightforward process. Each floor is different, each job is different, and you are constantly thinking on your feet. Your knowledge and your crew's knowledge of the polishing process is a key ingredient to a great looking floor and a happy client. That is why PROSOCO is partnering with industry leaders across the county to bring you some of the best polished concrete training available.

2017

August 29–30 Gillette, WY
Jon Don is hosting a FREE 2-day workshop that covers the critical information that operators need to know about OSHA’s new silica dust rules PLUS some hands-on training with the newest products from Metzger/McGuire and PROSOCO.

Part 1: OSHA’s New Silica Dust Standards
The new OSHA standards on crystalline silica affect nearly everyone who works in the construction and concrete surface prep industry. With hefty fines for non-compliance beginning September 23, 2017, operators have limited time to make sure they conform to the new standards.
Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • Understanding OSHA’s new Table 1 standards
  • How to develop a written exposure control plan
  • How to implement a staff training program
  • How to comply with record-keeping requirements

Part 2: Hands-On Training
We’ll be performing a hands-on demo of SRS, a new polish-able grout material, and EP-80, a water-tolerant joint fi ller, two great new products from Metzger/McGuire. We’ll also test out PROSOCO Concrete Protector SB, a new solvent-based protec-tor with improved stain-resistance.

Our hands-on demo will include training on the following:

  • How to properly prep and apply joint filler and structural repair mortars
  • How to polish, densify, and apply dye
  • How to apply company logos and stencils
  • How to troubleshoot difficult slabs

The class is free but seats are limited. Call TODAY to reserve your seat! Call Chad Grote at (303) 868-9623.
